So far around 1,300 Intel employees have been invited to participate from two distinct units, the Silicon engineering teams and a manufacturing team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The platform will be used on an ongoing continuous basis, but the initiative was kicked off on the 20th of July with a four-week ideation event to encourage adoption and engagement. The first two weeks were dedicated to idea submission, collaboration, and discussion, with the second half dedicated to\u00a0 POC (proof of concept) development by the idea submitter. So far users have delivered 246 ideas, 462 comments, and 900+ votes, with those figures forecasted to ramp up significantly in the months ahead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0y84zM2r1Cc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Fifty years ago, Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore founded Intel &#8218;to ponder what might be possible&#8216;. Today, innovation is still central to Intel&#8217;s identity and strategy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While this initiative is being managed out of Israel, the innovation platform is being used to <a href=\"https:\/\/qmarkets.net\/use-cases\/by-business-challenge\/employee-innovation-program\/\">engage globally distributed employees<\/a>. Currently, the teams are invited to participate in closed campaigns \u2013 with users only seeing the content that is relevant for them.
